Pre-contractual Information Form

What it is

The Modulo Unico Precontrattuale is the document that an insurance intermediary hands to the client before a policy is taken out, containing information on the intermediary itself, its status (agent, broker, collaborator) and the insurers on whose behalf it operates.

What it must contain

Identification and RUI registration details of the intermediary
Nature of the mandate (single- or multi-tied agent, broker) and the list of appointing insurers
Any reciprocal shareholdings with insurance undertakings
How the intermediary is remunerated
Contact details for complaints and for verifying RUI registration
